Aromas at No 4 are committed to protect your privacy, to comply with GDPR which took  effect on 25th May 2018.  We will never share your details with any third parties unless directed to do so by law.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.thecandlebrand.co.uk. We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to: Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

CONSENT
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and use it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (such as marketing/subscription to our newsletter) we will either ask you directly for your consent and provide you with an opt out. SECURE PAYMENTS ONLINE
Our secure online store is hosted by WooCommerce. Payment processing is delivered by Stripe Europe Ltd (Data Protection Reference 13901/A) and PayPal and you agree that we can store your information with this party.  You also acknowledge that we will not be held responsible for any third party security breaches. Any sensitive information you send to Stripe or PayPal from your computer or device to their servers is encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SUBSCRIPTION BOXES

Registration: You are required to create an account in order to purchase from our site.

Subscribing: By subscribing you agree to pay your membership fee for the goods that are delivered for the term agreed by both parties.

Membership Renewal: By signing up to an Aromas at No 4 membership you understand and agree you will be charged at the standard rate and that any promotional codes used as a new customer at sign up do not transfer or apply to your renewal fee. The Company do not accept any responsibility or offer refunds for ‘auto renewals’ proceeding if you have failed to cancel your subscription before your next renewal date. You understand and agree that you will be automatically billed after your current subscription month expires unless the subscription is ‘set to cancel’ before your final payment date in your initial commitment.

Cancellation: You may cancel your membership by logging into your account on the Aromas at No 4 website at any time. This does not initiate any kind of refund if you fail to cancel before the renewal date.

Your membership is continuous until you cancel and, if you cancel your membership before the end of an existing subscription commitment period, you will be charged for the remainder of that subscription period.

If you do not cancel your membership prior to your renewal, your membership will automatically renew for a new membership period of the same amount of time.

By Aromas at No 4 stating you can cancel at anytime this directly refers to the renewal and not your commitment term.

Aromas at No 4 subscription box is a subscription service, by signing up you agree it is your responsibility to cancel your own subscription by logging into your account profile. The Company do not accept responsibility to cancel your account on your behalf. It is up to the customer alone to cancel the subscription. Cancellations must be completed before the next renewal date. Your subscription will renew on the same date of the month that you signed up after your commitment period ends.

You must cancel your subscription 24 hours before the renewal date. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL PRIOR TO THE RENEWAL DATE OF A CALENDAR MONTH, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THAT QUARTER’S SERVICE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A wax melt box.

Billing & Payments: You will automatically be charged every three months for your ongoing subscription.

Prepaid credit / debit cards are not accepted.

For your convenience and continuous subscription benefits as a member, if your payment method reaches its expiration date, you do not edit your credit card information and you have an ongoing subscription, you authorize us to continue billing that credit card on file including extending the expiration date until we are notified by you or the credit card company that the account is no longer valid. We encourage you to constantly update your payment method information or cancel your membership should you wish to discontinue your monthly purchase of Products.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Aromas at No 4’s website is designed and intended for use by adults over the age of 18. If we discover that we have collected personal data from minors without consent from a parent or guardian, where such consent should have been obtained, we will delete that personal data. Please note – No payment information (eg bank account numbers. Sort codes) is processed or held by Aromas at No 4. We do not see or have access to your payment details or account(s).

YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right:
To be informed how we use, store and maintain your personal data;
To make us alter or delete any personal information we hold relating to yourself;
To ask for a copy of any personal information held relating to you.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
